Calendar of Color

Do you know the date? We have the most perfect way to keep time right behind our counter.

Gus and Edie are helping me today. You add just one bead for each day of the year. You choose the color you'd like for the month.

 

This is a wonderful way for kids to get involved in learning about the months, seasons and something as simple as counting.

Plus look at how gorgeous it is. Imagine what year end will look like...

Sunny Sidewalk Sale & Celebrating Mamas

 

We've adorned the sidewalk with a handful of cute items for the Hip Strip Sidewalk Sale! We will be offering discounts of 20% on certain items (anything outside) today and Saturday.

It is a gorgeous sunny afternoon. We would love to see you today!

We will be closed on Sunday in celebration of Mamas. All of the employees at Walking Stick are Mamas, so we couldn't/wouldn't sucker anyone into spending their special Sunday here. Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Crafting Classes

Our crafting classes are FUN! We recently had a Wool Felting Class and the kids got to make a caterpillar, mushroom, & gnome.

 

After learning the basics of needle felting - imaginations took off! We went home with an apple tree.

 

Looks like someone else went home with a new panda.

 

Several kids left with armfuls of wool roving for felting projects at home. We have felting needles and raw wool at Walking Stick if you heart this hobby.

We have BabyLegs!

 

After much debate we decided to bring in everyone's favorite baby leg warmers, arm warmers, & fashion statement. We're stocked up but they are going fast. We have the "no bugs", "cool UV protectors", newborn sizes and the regular line. Adorn those cute legs with some color!

We also got another load of Starry Knight shoes to replenish our stock. We now have an array of size 2-3yrs and can special order size 4-5yrs for you.
