Fall Art

Oct 17, 2012

We are on the brink of some serious crafting but with the air clear and the leaves still intact you might want to decorate your neighborhood trees. Thanks to little Gus for the brilliant idea. We'll be using some of our yarn stash to decorate our trees this afternoon with gathered goodies on the way home from the bus stop. I bet this makes the tree extra happy!

Now for that crafting. We have oodles of classes heading your way.

Friday morning when the kiddos are out of school we're spending our day working on a collective Fall Fairy House at Walking Stick. Pop in and help us with our project and bring home your very own "tree hugger" (pictured above). 11:30-6. If you want to see Simon and Gus they will be here until 3 on Friday and they'd love to have some friends to get creative with.

The rest of our classes will be pictured to the right under the 'Events' heading.

*Sales will also be listed to the right. Our birthday sale is Saturday November 3rd. And don't forget about our Holiday Open House - Santa, Snacks and Sales on November 24th aka Small Business Saturday.

After many requests, we are now offering some adult classes, or classes for big kids! And, there might even be chocolate and wine (for your crafting pleasure). The first class is a magical window star class.

October 23rd at 7pm you can make a window star to brighten your fall and winter days. This class is for 10+, bringing your child with you isn't a requirement. Mamas and Papas that like folding pretty paper please join us.

Make sure to check our schedule for other adult options. We need Mama/Papa helpers for our Wooly Tree for the Festival of the Trees - and maybe you'd like to make your family an advent calendar this year?

You can hear about events on our Facebook page as well as our eco-friendly mailing list (please subscribe here).  We're looking forward to crafting with you very very soon!
